You can delete your Fixinary account and the personal information connected to it at any time. This applies whether you signed up with email, Google, or Facebook.
How to delete your account and data
In Fixinary. Sign in, go to Account, choose Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. We sign you out and show a confirmation when it's done.
By email. If you can't sign in, email legal@fixinary.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my data." If you write from a different address, we'll ask you to confirm you own the account before we delete anything.
Deleting your account cancels it right away. You lose any paid time left in your current period, and it isn't refunded.
If you signed in with Facebook
You can also remove Fixinary from your Facebook account:
- On Facebook, click your profile picture.
- Select Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Click Apps and websites.
- Find Fixinary and click Remove.
Removing Fixinary on Facebook stops Facebook from sharing your information with us, and you won't be able to sign in to Fixinary with Facebook anymore. It does not delete the data Fixinary already has. To delete that, use Delete account in Fixinary or email us as described above.
What we delete, and how fast

| Free-diagnosis record | We keep a scrambled one-way code made from your email (not the email itself) and a note that its free diagnosis was used, for 12 months. You can sign up again, but a new account with the same email won't get another free diagnosis |
| Billing and tax records | Kept for up to 4 years, because tax and accounting law requires it |
| Marketing emails | You're unsubscribed and your email is removed from our list |
We may keep some information longer if we need it to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud, or comply with the law.
Information that has been de-identified (it can no longer be linked to you) and improvements we've already made to Fixinary from it are not deleted. Our Privacy Policy explains this in Sections 3 and 5.
